Prescriber Awareness Kit

Because patients deserve full disclosure before psychiatric prescribing begins.

The Prescriber Awareness Kit is a patient-led advocacy product created to spark informed consent conversations around psychiatric prescribing, withdrawal, adverse reactions, black box warnings, and medication-related harm.

This kit was designed for patients, families, advocates, and awareness organizers who want a tangible, conversation-starting tool that is direct, memorable, and visually impactful.
Why this kit exists

Too many people were not clearly warned about serious risks, withdrawal, emotional blunting, behavioral changes, or sudden changes in functioning. I have worked with too many spouses whose voice has been silenced. It’s time to let these doctors know they are causing harm so they can fix it. We do not believe the majority are intentionally causing harm.

The Prescriber Awareness Kit was created to help bring those conversations to the surface.
