Yes. It affected my blood pressure and pulse dramatically; they shot up. It’s taken a few years of being off it, but now I’m back to a normal range. I started off naturally very low to begin with. It’s awful. I’m sorry to hear it’s impacting your heart too.

Effexor has caused a lot nerve damage. It has damage the nerves that go to my heart. I felt an electric shock right where I drew the nerve being cut. Effexor can cause cardiomyopathy and heart failure even at regular dosing. This explains all heart issues I’m having at the moment.

If you have had a major cardiac event due to venlafaxine like me….it will show up in your blood tests, certain chemicals get released into the blood during such an event, this is how the doctors determine how much damage has been done to your heart.

Help? I’ve been on 112 for just over a month and now I have heart palpitations my blood pressure is through the roof I’m shaking like mad getting muscle spasms. My hubby said it can’t be withdrawals because it’s been over a month. I’m breaking out with cold sores? Can this be withdrawals.
