We can see the patterns because we are willing to connect the dots. We are not trapped by rigid guidelines. We are not afraid to question drug interactions. And we are not afraid to ask whether the prescription itself may be part of the harm.
What if we stopped treating “mental health” like a vague label that automatically leads to drugs that alter brain chemistry?
What if we stopped reacting to it emotionally and started examining it biologically?
Many of these drugs can disrupt brain chemistry, alter the gut microbiome, and affect the body in ways patients are rarely warned about.
As someone who has lost so much to these prescription drugs, I believe we have to start asking better questions.
What if 82 lives could have been saved if informed consent had truly been used?
What if psychiatrists had been trained to look for root causes instead of just treating symptoms?
What if basic bloodwork and labs had been done first?
What if the problem did not begin in the mind alone?
What if it started in the gut?

What if his parents had been told he was having homicidal thoughts?
What if his parents were advised about potential psychiatric harm?
What if they knew “cautiously” was going from 50 mg to 150 mg of an SSRI (ZO) in two months?
What if they knew a cocktail had been started? Changed? Altered?
What if they had known that is dangerous and he needed to be monitored? What if they knew he had stopped the Prescription SSRI cold turkey?

Schizophrenia runs in his family. His aunt, his dad’s twin sister, has suffered with it, as have both parents. What if it was a nutrition/hormone/mineral imbalance that was never looked at because they were suffering with “mental health”? Scientific research has advanced and it’s time to stop blaming the emotional side effects of a brain that has been altered by neurotoxins and start looking at the CAUSE. Stop prescribing drugs that alter brain chemistry and look deeper. Mankind depends on it. Once again, it was not the gun. It wasn’t the heart of the individual. March 21- Dr Fenton dx as schizoid personality with anxiety and homicidal ideation
Prescribed Klonopin and Zoloft
Next visit, complained of memory problems so changed Klon to Propranolol
March 27th- Zoloft increased to 100 mg
April 27th-Zoloft increased to 150 mg
June 30,2012- Stopped Zoloft 150 mg due to no insurance
July 20, 2012- James Holms commits violence, killing 12 and injuring 70 others
After he was put on Zoloft, he broke up with his girlfriend, started spending wrecklessly, normally reserved, started flirting, and had homicidal ideations.
Dr. David Healy writes: “Mr. Holmes also has a post-event psychotropic drug history. His mental state appears to have deteriorated in November 2012 with bizarre behavior, paranoid thinking and hallucinatory behavior. Mr. Holmes was hospitalized, diagnosed with psychosis, and prescribed Haldol, Ativan and benztropine. These prescriptions were later switched to risperidone, lorazepam and diphenhydramine.
Additionally, at the end of December 2012, Mr. Holmes appeared depressed and was given the SSRI Lexapro 10mg. Five days later, he was reported as having a wild look in his eyes and was placed on suicide watch. His dosage of Lexapro was not escalated after this. The problem appears to have subsided afterwards.
However, Mr. Holmes reports no benefit from Lexapro. The jail medical records similarly record no benefit. The jail staff’s observations regarding Mr. Holmes’s apparent agitation on Lexapro is notable, because it indicates that an SSRI has had an agitating effect on Mr. Holmes. This evidence supports an argument that the Zoloft he was taking under the care of Dr. Fenton may similarly had adverse effects on his behavior and may have played a part in the events of July 20, 2012.”
