About

HARMED Hearts

Spouses and loved ones exposing the truth Big Pharma tries to hide.

Our Mission

We are a nonprofit led by spouses, partners, parents, and families whose lives were upended by antidepressants. We expose deception, demand informed consent, support the loved ones left behind, and fight for safer prescribing and humane tapering practices.

Our Story

HARMED Hearts grew from a simple truth: for every person harmed, there is a family searching for answers. We listened to thousands of stories that sounded the same—withdrawal misdiagnosed as relapse, emotional blunting mistaken for “getting better,” side effects minimized, and families dismissed. We organized so loved ones could be heard—and so fewer families would ever need to ask, “What happened to the person I love?”

What We Do

Truth

Plain-language resources on risks, black-box warnings, and hyperbolic tapering—so families have real informed consent.

Support

Peer groups for spouses and loved ones, memorial and survivor care, and practical guides for navigating chaos.

Accountability

Advocacy for honest labeling, medical education reform, safer prescribing, and systems that stop repeating preventable harm.
