However, long-term use of these medications has raised concerns regarding their potential impact on cognitive functions such as memory, attention, and executive functioning. Indeed, research has shown that the use of antidepressants may be associated with cognitive decline in some individuals.

Recent studies have indicated that chronic use of antidepressants can lead to mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in certain patients. A longitudinal study found that elderly patients on long-term SSRI therapy exhibited significantly higher rates of cognitive decline, which was linked to a decrease in verbal memory performance among middle-aged adults compared to their non-medicated counterparts (Wang et al. 2023ab). https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11735527/

  1. The doctors prescribing these drugs are well aware of this. What they are doing is criminal. They are so cruel and sadistic that they don’t care how much people are harmed by these drugs and they feel a sense of power and control when people are weakened and disabled by these drugs. What they are doing to innocent people is beyond unethical and immoral.
